Dermaplaning is a procedure that involves a deep clean, light scrubbing, gentle removal of the outermost layer of dead skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz) from the face and a soothing, revitalising hydro-jelly mask. This non-invasive treatment is performed by an aesthetician and is often used to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and uneven skin tone. - The Process
The skin is cleansed after which a scalpel is used to gently scrape across the skin’s surface in upward motions. This removes dead skin cells, dirt, and debris, while also removing fine hairs from the face.
