Dr Deborah Mercieca

Dr Mercieca studied Medicine at the University of Malta and graduated as a Medical Doctor in 2001. She has worked within the Obstetrics and Gynaecological units at St Luke’s and Mater Dei Hospitals. She has been working full time in the med-aesthetics industry for the last 10 years.

Dr Deborah Mercieca’s main area of interest is women’s health. This has seen the recent addition of a new treatment using fractionated laser for the treatment of vaginal atrophy and symptoms attributed to it. Vaginal rejuvenation using the MonaLisa Touch involves sessions of vaginal medical laser treatment that stimulate the vascular supply and collagen in the vaginal lining, resulting in less vaginal symptoms. Dr Mercieca is also heavily involved in laser hair removal and other aesthetic procedures with long lasting results. She keeps abreast of the latest aesthetic treatments and attends conferences and workshops locally and internationally on a regular basis.

Dr Deborah Mercieca is married to Dr Andrew Mercieca and is a mother of four (4) young boys.
