Dr. Chiara Frendo Balzan is a dedicated medical professional deeply committed to Women’s Health. With a Doctor of Medicine and Surgery degree from Malta in 2005, she commenced her career at St Luke’s Hospital before embarking on an enriching 11-year journey in the UK, where she honed her skills and attained international exposure, extensive experience and expertise.

During her tenure in South Wales, UK, Dr. Frendo Balzan specialised in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, earning a Diploma in Family Planning, Sexual and Reproductive Health; further qualifications in Ultrasound, and attained a European Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She recently completed further advanced training in Functional Medicine with special interest in Functional Gynaecology. This has helped her optimise her holistic care for her patients.

In addition to her clinical and academic pursuits, Dr. Frendo Balzan is an active participant in knowledge dissemination. She regularly contributes to podcasts, delivers educational talks, and is a regular guest on TV and radio programs. Her insightful contributions and engaging demeanor make her a valued resource in the healthcare community.
