Clean Your Natural Lashes: Ensure your natural lashes are clean and free of any makeup, oils, or residue before the appointment. This helps the adhesive bond better.
Avoid Waterproof Mascara: Refrain from using waterproof mascara in the days leading up to the appointment, as it can leave a residue that hinders the bonding process.
Skip Eye Makeup on the Day: Arrive at the appointment with clean, makeup-free eyes. This provides a clean canvas for the lash extension application.
Remove Contact Lenses: If you wear contact lenses, it’s advisable to remove them before the treatment. Consider bringing your glasses for after the procedure.
Plan for the Time Commitment: Lash extension application can take a couple of hours. Plan accordingly, and avoid scheduling any immediate activities or appointments.
Inform Your Technician: Inform your lash technician about any eye conditions, allergies, or previous reactions to beauty products. This helps them choose the most suitable products for you.
Avoid Water and Steam: Refrain from getting the lashes wet or exposing them to steam for the first 24 to 48 hours after the treatment. This allows the adhesive to fully set.
Skip Oil-Based Products: Use oil-free makeup removers and avoid oil-based products around the eye area to prevent premature breakdown of the adhesive.
Gentle Cleansing: Be gentle when cleansing the eye area. Use a lash-friendly cleanser or a mild, oil-free cleanser to maintain the longevity of the lash extensions.
Avoid Waterproof Mascara: Avoid using waterproof mascara, as the removal process can be harsh on the extensions and may cause them to come off prematurely.
No Eyelash Curlers: Avoid using eyelash curlers, as lash extensions are already curled during the application process.
Be Mindful of Sleeping Positions: Try to sleep on your back to prevent rubbing the lash extensions against the pillow, which could cause premature shedding.

We’ve Got Answers
Frequently asked questions on Lashes.
What are eyelash extensions?
The Lash Extensions used at Niumee lash 7 Brow Bar are synthetic Mink, or Silk and are applied individually to the natural lash, with an medical grade adhesive, that is fume, latex and formaldehyde free.
Will Lash Extensions damage my natural lashes?
No! When applied properly, with perfect isolation and weight eyelash extensions will not harm your natural lashes.
What are the differences in all the Lash Extension services?
The difference in the Lash Extension services are as follows:
Classic Individual Lash Extensions
Classic lashes are semi-permanent extensions placed individually onto each natural lash. Providing a fuller but natural look, they’re created for long-term wear. Approx. 90-130 lashes per eye.
Classic sets are perfect for those who want a glamorous look with less volume. One thicker individual lash is applied to one of your natural lashes.
2D Russian/ Hybrid Volume Lash Extensions
If you are unsure of which style fits you best, you can give Hybrid Lash Extensions a try, where we apply half Classic Lash Extensions & half Russian Volume Lash Extensions. Approx. 150-200 Lashes per eye.
Designed to provide the most fluttery and natural look of all the sets.
3-6D Russian Volume Lash Extensions
Volume semi-permanent lashes are the most popular advanced technique. Multiple lashes are attached to each individual natural lash without putting any strain on the lashes, creating volume and definition. Ideal for long-term wear.
Wet Look Lash Extensions
A more dramatic, thicker, bolder version of classic lash extensions. Instead of a single lash extension we use a closed bunch of lighter and finer lashes to create a narrow closed fan.
Kim K Effect/ Spikes (Wispy Effect) Lash Extensions
The Kim K Lash look focusses on creating a wispy, spiked look. It’s a style that’s becoming increasingly popular with clients. This look is designed around applying longer lashes at equally distanced points along the map, this creates a fuller, fluffier look. Ideal for clients with smaller eyes and a high set brow.
Eyeliner Effect Lash Extensions
This technique is all about using shorter-volume lashes. While the length can vary based on your client’s preference and eye shape, generally, 6-8mm extensions work best for the eyeliner effect. Using short lengths creates density right near the lash line which is what gives that traditional eyeliner look.
